Don’t be too hard on yourself. This is the age to make mistakes. This is the age to explore things. This is the age to have fun.
You might think that you are not doing enough yet you always beat yourself when things don’t align your way.
You are not perfect and you will never be. And it’s okay. You don’t and never have to be perfect.
You don’t have to force yourself to love the things you used to love just because you spent a very long time with it.
I know that you can be a doctor, a pilot, a lawyer, a teacher or anything else but the question is, “do you see yourself enjoying that job or you’ll just try to endure and fake it all for the name?”
Each and everyone in your neighborhood that you grew up with will never pursue the same thing because it’s the differences that make us all unique. At the end of the day, success is beyond the degree you earned.
It’s all about timing and we don’t have to fit in with the timeline that was set by our society. It’s okay to be a freshman at 22, it’s okay to get married at 30, it’s okay to graduate from college at 27.
You’re still 19 and everything will be fine. You will always be prone to mistakes but it doesn’t mean that you won’t learn from it.
The only person you need to please is yourself. Your own happiness and peace should be your top most priority.
